It has a kind of whimsical melancholy that invites you to listen over and over again, and somehow it remains exciting, long after any other tune would be pronounced as played to death. It’s the kind of song that you can start your day to, and conclude it with.
The timeless combination of poignant lyrics and floaty, instrumental sounds, coupled with Goldfrapp’s signature electronic style, make this one of the best songs on their album, Seventh Tree.
